support to ensure you enjoy many years of very happy ALTITUDE SETTING NOTES RE OLDER EQUATORIAL MOUNTS, SUCH AS EQ3 AND EQ5...
Please do not screw or unscrew any mount's latitude
(altitude/vertical) locking screws in order to force the mount higher or lower in latitude angle. To adjust a mount's latitude
angle, loosen the mount's latitude locking screws whilst holding the
mount! Then, slowly push the mount up, or let it down, by hand whilst
continuing to wind or unwind the locking screw. Locking screws are
designed to lock the
